If you’re a woman entrepreneur you need to check out Urban Rebound Los Angeles, June 24-26th at the Skirball Center. Being an entrepreneur isn’t easy, but imagine if you had a community of support and access to free coaching and training to help grow your business. That is the mission of Urban Rebound. It is aimed at helping women-owned businesses in three US cities grow to $250,000 in annual revenues. Just register, give your 2 minute pitch and you could win a fabulous opportunity.
Women business owners pitch their businesses to a panel of experts for a chance to win cash awards, gifts and a spot in the Count Me In Business Accelerator Program. Attendees will also take part in business-building workshops, and network with amazing women like yourself.
I was on the steering committee last year and it was not only a great experience meeting these entrepreneurs, but to see their growth and transformation through the year. This year I’ll be speaking on Tuesday, June 25th. I’ll be sharing my journey of going from a TV News Anchor to Entrepreneur, talking about how to find your zen in business and life, and give insider media tips.
I’m honored to be in great company with Latina media and real estate mogul-Nely Galan, women executives from Sam’s Club, Count Me In founder- Nell Merlino and many more!
There will also be a one-day Count Me In Leadership Institute on Wednesday, June 26th. Anyone attending the Competition & Conference may attend. The Leadership Institute is especially designed to give participants an opportunity to take a deeper dive into critical business building topics and create a more intimate conversation with key experts including: The Guiltless Gourmet’s CEO, Gen Anderson, the CEO of Human Potential Consultants, Dr. Garnett Newcombe and Kevin Howard Goldberg of Imagistic.
If you want to practice your 2 minute pitch there will be a final pitch party on June 20th in La Crescenta.
I’m excited for this event to help inspire and strengthen women entrepreneurs and their families. Urban Rebound contributes to economic growth and job creation by giving them the tools and support they need to succeed and contribute to their communities.
It’s $99 to register. For more information about this event, go to:http://www.countmein.org/UR-LA.
There’s also another event coming up in July in New York.
Hope to see you there!
