Is it wrong to be angry after meditating? Okay I wasn’t angry from meditation I was frustrated because I was interrupted. My daughter is going through her terrible twos and her sleep patterns are shifting. She is going to bed later and getting up earlier. I was waking up at 6:00 am so I could have some alone time, before the kids get up, but lately even that is not early enough and I haven’t been able to have that “me” time and setting my alarm for earlier than that just doesn’t sound fun. So my meditation practice has fallen apart lately. This morning instead of working I even tried to meditate in my car at the beach, but then a someone decided to park right next to me and started smoking. :( 15 minutes is better than nothing.
Okay, something needs to shift. That’s why I’m so excited The Chopra Center’s 21 day meditation challenge is starting next week on the 16th. It’s free and there’s still time to sign up. The theme this time is Free To Love and it is being led by Deepak Chopra as well as other instructors. I need to get back on track and the guided audio meditations right in my inbox will make it easier to make it a part of my day and help me get back to my 30 minute meditation in the morning and evening eventually.
Here’s my post from earlier this year when I started my meditation practice. How’s your summer been? Is there something you’ve been wanting to get back to?
