For me the key to being zen is being free of clutter-mentally and physically. This is not always easy. To clear the mental clutter I try to go to yoga or meditate, but when I see the physical clutter it’s hard to be truly clear with my thoughts and actions. And if you have kids, especially toddlers it’s even more difficult to get rid of the clutter. I feel like I spend all day picking things up, putting it away, and it still seems to keep multiplying. It’s a never ending daily cycle. I have a few upcoming work projects I’m excited about, but first I want to start fresh- so I’m on a mission to clear the clutter. This is nothing new, I’m always searching for new clutter clearing tips. I organize all the time, but right now I need to stop just cleaning and rearranging all day and say good-bye to stuff. This isn’t always easy for me. This quote inspired me and guided me with my weekend clean-up or toss-out.

I tossed out/put in “to donate” bins old magazines, my kids old toys, documents. I still have a long way to go, but at least it’s a start.
